Saturday is Family Literacy Day and the Cold Lake Community Learning Centre is putting on a big event to celebrate.
The Festival of Words is returning for a day full of family fun.
The theme is How to Train Your Dragon to Read where youngsters are encouraged to dress up like a viking or dragon and participate in fun activities.
Kids can play along in rounds of mini-golf, word draws, a spelling bee, amongst other games.
There is no cost to participating, plus you’ll get free pizza and a free book for showing up.
It’s all happening Saturday from 11:00AM-2:00PM at the Cold Lake Senior Citizen’s Hall (Cold Lake North).
