Police pursuit in stolen vehicle lands two people charges: St. Paul RCMP weekly report

Over the past week, the St. Paul RCMP have responded to 165 calls for service and executed 12 warrants for arrest.

Flight from police

On Jan. 22, 2025, shortly before 3:00AM, the St. Paul RCMP were involved in a pursuit of a vehicle that had been reported as stolen.

The vehicle fled from police, but was caught after police intervention.

Two individuals in the vehicle were arrested and charged.

Robin Jay Gladue, 20, a resident of Saddle Lake has been charged with:

  • Pursuit involved – flight from peace officer
  • Fail to comply probation order
  • Adult ycja – fail or refuse to comply (x3)
  • Drive uninsured motor vehicle on highway
  • Drive while unauthorized
  • Operate motor vehicle/trailer without subsisting certificate of registration
  • Display improperly issued or unauthorized license plate on motor vehicle or trailer
  • Drive salvage motor vehicle on highway for other than test purposes

Robin Gladue was held for a judicial hearing and remanded into custody. His next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 23, 2025.

Wyatt Cardinal, 22, a resident of Saddle Lake has been charged with Disobeying order of court. 

Cardinal was held for a judicial hearing and was released on conditions. His next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 20, 2025.

Thefts

Over the past week, the St. Paul RCMP have responded to four reports of thefts from businesses in town. One of those reports has led to charges.

Delores Kay Cardinal, 38, a resident of St. Paul has been charged with Theft under or equal to $5000 – shoplifting. 

Cardinal was held for a judicial hearing and was released on conditions.

She was slated to appear at the St. Paul Court of Justice on Thursday, Jan. 23.
