Cold Lake’s Operation Red Nose lone one in Alberta in 2024

Published On: January 8, 2025By

Cold Lake has the distinction of being the lone community in Alberta that hosted Operation Red Nose in 2024.

The Cold Lake Ag Society has taken over the helm of the project, which sees volunteers help deliver safe and sober rides home during the holidays to lessen the risk of impaired driving.

This year, a little over $3,000 was raised for local youth initiatives for Cold Lake Minor Football and the Cold Lake Agricultural Society.

Cold Lake Ag wants to give a big thank you to all their sponsors and volunteers helping keep our community roads safe this holiday season.

It’s the 32 year of Operation Red Nose nationwide.
