On January 2, 2025, Ms. Sylvia Yarmuch of Edmonton, formerly of Derwent, Alberta passed away at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her 3 brothers, Ted (Ruby), Maurice (Nancy) & Barry; sister, Angela Bailey; sister-in-law, Angela; nieces & nephews, Ted Jr. “Teddy” (Sonia), Deborah (Neil), Brian (Crystal), Kim, Corinne (Jay), Karla, Stacey, Jay, James, Jarod & Joshua. Sylvia was predeceased by her parents, Harry & Kathleen; step-father, Andrew Baker; brother, Orest. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 13 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church (12918- 121 St NW), Edmonton, with Rt. Reverend Protopresbyter Victor Lakusta officiating. Interment in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Slawa with Reverend Father Peter Haugen officiating.
