NEAJBHL standings close through a month
The North Eastern Alberta Junior B Hockey League standings are tight heading into weekend action.
Only six points separates first place Lloyd Bandits from the sixth place Killam Wheat Kings, showing the competitiveness of the NEAJBHL thus far.
On Friday night, the Cold Lake Ice (2-7) will try to avenge their 4-2 loss to the St. Paul Canadiens (5-4), as they travel to the Clancy Richard Arena for a rematch. Puckdrop is 8:00PM.
St. Paul will head to Wainwright the following night, who they’ve already defeated on this year.
The Bisons the night before are home to the Bandits.
Otherwise, the Vermilion Tigers (6-2) host the Vegreville Rangers (6-3) on Friday. The Onion Lake Border Chiefs, still looking for their first win of the season, travel to Vegreville on Saturday.
