A 30-year-old woman is facing charges after being found in possession of a stolen vehicle.
On Thursday, Oct. 30, St. Paul RCMP received a report from the Edmonton Police Service of a stolen vehicle that showed tracking information in the St. Paul area.
In collaboration with the Eastern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit, Smoky Lake RCMP, Alberta Traffic – St. Paul, and Police Dog Services, one female was arrested and charged.
The stolen vehicle was recovered.
Tessa Lameman, 30, a resident of Lashburn, Saskatchewan, has been charged with:
- theft of a motor vehicle
- possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
- operation while prohibited
- fail to comply with probation order (x2)
Lameman was held for a judicial hearing and was remanded into custody and is set to appear in court on Monday, Nov. 4, at the St. Paul Court of Justice.
