Over the past week, the St. Paul RCMP detachment responded to 181 calls for service and executed 15 warrants for arrest.

On Thursday, Oct. 10, shortly before 4:00PM, a truck, was reported stolen from a residence in Saddle Lake First Nation. The truck has not yet been recovered, police said. Charges are pending against one male, RCMP added.

A spike in reported animal calls came into the detachment, with the RCMP responding to seven calls for stray dogs. One of those calls was for a dog bite. Police are encouraging the public to ensure their pets are properly contained in yards.

With Thanksgiving long weekend, police conducted a checkstop.
