Date set for Bonnyville teacher’s plea on sexual assault & interference charges
Janelle Arnold appeared for the first time in Bonnyville Provincial Court on Tuesday.
The former Bonnyville teacher is facing charges of sexual assault and sexual interference. following an arrest on Sept. 6.
It is alleged she assaulted a 13-year-old boy and attempted to pay the victim in order to keep quiet about the incident.
At the appearance, some of the bail orders were varied, while a new date was set for election and plea.
That date is set for Tuesday, Nov. 5 in Bonnyville.
Meanwhile, Bonnyville RCMP continue to investigate.
