As part of provincial changes announced years ago, Bonnyville Victim Services will be ending their operations on Sept. 30.

The Alberta government will be replacing the 62 individual units across Alberta with four regional units in the east, west, south and central zones.

The Lakeland area will receive support through the Eastern Alberta Regional Victim Serving Society, a post said on social media.

But what exactly this means is unclear at the moment.
