On September 14, 2024, Mrs. Ruth Choma of Elk Point, formerly of Wetaskiwin, Alberta passed away at the age of 87 years. She is survived by her brother, Maurice (Virginia) Bennett; sister, Doreen Topping; numerous nieces & nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, John; parents, William & Bertha Bennett; brothers, Ray Bennett, Norman Bennett, Bill Bennett & Gerald Bennett; sisters, Maureen Fontaine & Marjorie (Jack) Malm; brother-in-law, Grant Topping. A Funeral Service was held on Monday, September 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Elk Point Seniors Centre (Pioneer Circle). Pastor Kelly Sibleyofficiated with interment in Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Elk Point.
