WATCH: Annual Farm Fair in La Corey readies for stellar day of activities
The crew at the Willow Prairie Ag Society are geared up for their biggest event of the year.
La Corey will be a happening place this Saturday as they welcome families for a day — and night — full of fun and entertainment.
The annual Farm Fair put on by the Willow Prairie Agricultural Society with activities for kids during the day, and then evening entertainment with Clayton Bellamy.
A massive tent will be set up for an outdoor market, as well as a car show, as well as other heavy equipment like tractors and firetrucks. Bouncy castles and interactive displays will be set up in the kids zone, as well as a photo booth.
The quilt show will be based inside at the hall and the fur and flock sale will be outside.
A rhubarb pie contest is happening at noon for sweet treats.
Food will be no issue either, with a burger BBQ in the afternoon, and local food trucks.
G&C DJ Services will keep the energy up during the day.
It’s $5 entry for the day’s activities. You can park at the Willow Prairie Hall and receive a horse wagon ride to the fields.
A beer gardens will be set up in the evening ahead of the Clayton Bellamy show, which opens at 6:00PM and performing at 9:00PM.
They are raffling three major prizes, including a side-by-side ATV from 54 North valued at over $25,000, a new hot tub from Lakeland Arctic Spas valued at over $16,000, and your choice of an auto mower or zero-turn mower from Dynamo Small Engine Sales & Service.
Major sponsors stepped up to help put the event on, including the M.D. of Bonnyville, Mac’s Oilfield Services Ltd., LSC Industrial, Hawk I’s Liquor Store, and Panache Realty – Trina Tapscott.
