On March 10, 2024, the Lakeland Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) received information on a male wanted on a Canada-Wide Warrant in the Cold Lake area.
With assistance from Police Dog Services, Cold Lake RCMP, and Bonnyville RCMP, the male was apprehended without incident.
Cody White (37) was charged with the following:
- Resist/obstruct peace officer;
- Dangerous operation of motor vehicle;
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000;
- Possession of property obtained by crime less than or equal $5000;
- Operate motor vehicle while prohibited; and
- Flight from peace officer.
White was brought before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody. He will appear in the Alberta Court of Justice in Cold Lake on May 22, 2024.
