Lac Lac Biche RCMP issue 3 hour shelter-in-place in search of suspect

Lac La Biche RCMP were looking for a suspect who could’ve been armed late Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Police issued a shelter-in-place at 11:14PM on Tuesday night for residents near Highway 55 between Range Road 160 and 144A (south of Lac La Biche), and north of Township Road 672.

Roughly three hours later, at 2:19AM, the shelter-in-place ended.

RCMP say further details will come at a later time.
