A single vehicle rollover around 5 p.m. today sent Clandonald Fire and Rescue north alongside Dewberry Fire & Rescue for a reported entrapment.
Firefighters arrived on-scene and commenced extrication on one patient trapped in the vehicle while other firefighters worked to stabilize a second patient. Additional crews from Dewberry helped to stabilize the scene and set up a landing zone for STARS Ambulance.
One patient was taken by Medavie Health Services West – Northeast Alberta ambulance to Lloydminster, while one was airlifted to Edmonton.
This call caps off a very busy weekend for the County Fire Service who have been steadily responding to grassfires, medicals and electrical emergencies across the region.
