UPDATE: Cold Lake RCMP look to identify break and enter suspect

UPDATE: Cold Lake RCMP have identified the suspect related to the break and enter. They thank the public for your help.

Cold Lake RCMP are looking to track down a suspect linked to several vehicles being stolen.

On Sunday, Feb. 18, at around 9:19am, police received a report of a break and enter to a business on Highway 55 in Cold Lake.

Upon investigation, it was determined that at some point overnight, eight vehicles were stolen, three vandalized, along with extensive exterior damages to the business, RCMP said. 

A victim left their wallet in one of the vehicles that was stolen, which was used at a local convenience store in the Cold Lake area. CCTV was reviewed, which provided the following suspect. Cold Lake RCMP is seeking public assistance in identifying the suspect, description is as follows:

  • Male;
  • Fair complexion;
  • Approx. 5 feet 9 inch tall; and
  • Slender frame.
