As per Alberta Health Services, there will be no physician on site in the emergency department at the William J. Cadzow – Lac La Biche Healthcare Centre during the following times:
– 4 pm Tuesday, Feb. 20 to 8 am Wednesday, Feb. 21
– 4 pm Thursday, Feb. 22 to 8 am Friday, Feb. 23
Nursing staff will remain on site in the emergency department providing triage, assessments, and referrals for patients to alternate emergency departments. Please note that these closures may not occur if coverage is secured.
