A weekend fire in Bonnyville is not considered suspicious and no injuries were sustained.

Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority’s Station 5 responded to an ATV fire near 45 Avenue and 38A Street on Saturday afternoon at roughly 3:50pm. 

The fire quickly jumped to the house with the garage and attic sustaining significant damage, with strong winds concerning fire fighters that it could jump to other houses.

Crews from Station 7 Fort Kent and Station 8 Ardmore responded in support of this fire call, and completed extinguishing the blaze within a couple of hours. 

Information sent from Fire Chief Dan Heney say their investigation is closed .

Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority’s Station 5 responded to an ATV fire near 45 Avenue and 38A Street on Saturday afternoon at roughly 3:50pm.
