Despite original fears, physician coverage has been found for the emergency department (ED) at the Lac La Biche Healthcare Centre from 8 p.m. Dec. 29 to 8 a.m. Dec. 30.
The emergency department will remain open and available to area residents in need of urgent care during these times.
The previous Public Service Announcement issued Dec. 22 stated that the William J. Cadzow – Lac La Biche Healthcare Centre would be temporarily without on-site physician coverage during this time, but this is now being updated.
