On December 11th, 2023 just after noon St Paul RCMP along with St Paul FIRE and EMS responded to a motor vehicle collision vs pedestrian on 44th street just south of 50th avenue in St Paul.
Preliminary investigation has revealed a pickup truck was travelling south on 44 street when a pedestrian who was crossing the road was struck by the southbound vehicle.
The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was transported to St Therese Hospital and eventually to Edmonton for medical care. The 45 year-old female pedestrian is reportedly in stable condition.
