On November 8, 2023, Blair “Bear” McConnell of McRae passed away at the age of  32 years.  He is survived by his children, Addison Grace, Georgia Kasey, Belle Kasey, Mathias Kasey Ronan & Merrick Richard; loving parents, George & Bonnie; siblings, Blake (Courtney), Bailee (Preston) Chief & Daniel; nieces & nephews, Brylee, Landon, Buck, Blake, Bronson, Brooks, Theo & Edyn; maternal grandpa, Phillip Collins.  Blair was predeceased by his brother, George “Buck”; maternal kokom, Ursula Collins; paternal grandparents, Olive & William McConnell; aunties, Pauline Jackson, Verna Lavoy & Josephine Collins; uncles, Ed Whitford, Bill McConnell, Dave Jackson, Daniel P. Collins, Phillip D. Collins & Leonard Steinhauer; cousins, Bradley Hamelin, Joshua Collins, Carmen D.
