With broken hearts, the family of Katherine Jayleen Gadwa of Kehewin Cree Nation, Alberta regretfully announces that the sun set for their beloved wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter, auntie and niece on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at the age of 26 years.

Katherine is lovingly survived by her husband: Reyhan Moosewah; parents: Suzan & Bobby Gadwa; brothers: Winston Moosepayo, Caleb Gadwa; sister: Brittany Night; special niece: Abigail-Rose Moosepayo; special aunties: Iris Moosepayo, Alvina Moosepayo; her cherished dogs: Lily, Chancho; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and her friends.

Katherine was predeceased by her paternal grandparents: Fred & Mary Jane Gadwa; maternal grandparents: Henry & Elizabeth Moosepayo.
