It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the sudden passing of Curtis “Kortezz” Nichols on September 28, 2023 at the age of 30 years.

Curtis is survived by his common law spouse Amber Monias; son: Chevy Nichols; mother: Tammy Nichols; grandmother: Sylvia Nichols; sisters: Desiree (Lyndon) Auger, Renee Auger, Dani (Orrin) Auger, Jayden Draney, Jocelyn Auger, Kendall Calliou (sister in law); brothers: Tristan (Katelyn) Draney, Douglas Laviolette; mother in law: Marie calliou; father in law: Curtis Monias; special parents: Garnett Cardinal, and Tanya Draney (Momma T); Special father and best friend: Chief Curtis Monias and numerous aunts, uncles,, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Curtis is predeceased by maternal grandfather: Wesley Nichols; paternal grandfather: Reuben Pruden; Brother in law: Preston Fox.

Wake: Saturday, October 7 and 8, 202. Heart Lake Multiplex, Heart Lake, Alberta (leaving Mission View Funeral Chapel at 1:00 p.m). Lac La Biche, Alberta.

Funeral Service, Monday. October 9, 2023 at 1:00 p.m., Heart Lake Multiplex, Heart Lake, Alberta.
