Five-year-old Frog Lake boy found after 28 hour search
After a long search through the bush, Jager has been found safe.
The five-year-old boy from Frog Lake was missing roughly 28 hours before being found just after 6:00pm, about four miles northeast of his home
Paramedics are on site to treat him for his long exposure to the elements.
Hundreds of volunteers stepped up for the search and rescue effort, lending ATVs, and horses. RCMP used helicopters and thermal drones also to scan through the terrain.
By mid-afternoon on Tuesday, crews had searched roughly a 25 kilometre radius.
The child is non-verbal, which made the search, combined with the difficult terrain, much more difficult.
Over ten First Nations communities, as well as several surrounding RCMP detachments, and hundreds of volunteers came together to locate Jager.
