On September 7, 2023, Kaycee Lee Desjarlais of Fishing Lake passed away at the age of 30 years. Kaycee is survived by her loving mother, Sandra Desjarlais; siblings, Janis , Morgan (Loretta), Christina, Wilson, Whitley (Lyndon), Nichole, Michelle, Vernon Jr., Danielle & Kelly; grandmothers, Mabel Aulotte & Julie Moore; numerous nieces & nephews. Kaycee was predeceased by her father, Kenneth Desjarlais Sr.; biological parents, Judy Faithful & Vernon Aulotte; grandparents, Christina & Joe Desjarlais, Wilson Moore & Dan Aulotte; sister, Jodi Faithful; nephews, Trayvon & Jesus. A Wake will be held on Thursday, September 21 (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.) at Fishing Lake Communiplex, Fishing Lake Metis Settlement. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Fishing Lake Communiplex, Fishing Lake Metis Settlement. Pastor Maxine Desjarlais will be officiating, with interment in Fishing Lake Community Cemetery, Fishing Lake Metis Settlement.
