Haying in the 30’s Cancer Support Society hosts an annual event held in Mallaig, Alberta where a group of dedicated volunteers get the grounds ready for thousands to visit every August long weekend.
The event is completely free, which includes camping, meals, a ho down, and a simulation of farming life almost 100 years ago.
They take donations to support those undergoing cancer treatments with $1000 payments. They have helped thousands of families from across Alberta and beyond.
