Just in time for Canada Day, swimmers can now go into the waters at Kinosoo Beach.
Effective immediately, Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the water quality advisory that was issued June 16, 2023 for the water of Cold Lake at Kinosoo Beach (located within the North Zone of AHS).
Water quality has returned to an acceptable level and the health risk is low for usage of the beach for recreational purposes.
As always, visitors and residents are reminded to never drink or cook with untreated water directly from any lake or reservoir, at any time.
