Environment Canada says conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain. T
They believe thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and will move northward through the day.
Thunderstorms will weaken by late this evening.
Yesterday, an array of lightning could be seen by residents in the Bonnyville and Cold Lake area.
Rain is expected on Thursday as well and temperatures continue to cool in the low 20s.
