Two people have suffered significant injuries and one person has been charged following an incident in Kehewin.

On Sunday, May 28, Bonnyville RCMP were dispatched to a high priority call where two people had been stabbed.

They headed to Kehewin in the early morning hours, just after midnight on Sunday morning.

Police said one victim was airlifted by STARS Air Ambulance to Edmonton, while another taken to the Bonnyville hospital.

Both of the victims have since been released from the hospital and return home recovering from their injuries.

Tommy Frenchman, 19-year-old, from Kehewin is facing two charges of aggravated assault and one of breaching a release order.

He is scheduled to appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court on Tuesday, June 6.
