JACKSON, Sophie
On May 28, 2023, Ms. Sophie Jackson of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 83 years.

She is survived by her 4 sons & 2 daughters, Richard (Delia), Andy, Judy, Mildred, Allen & Gullion (Reanna); adopted children, Thomas “Doots”, Amber & Christina; numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred “Jean” & Valerie; special friend, Earl.

Sophie was predeceased by her parents, Francis & Kathleen Jackson; children, Ellie, Emery, Lucy & Gail; adopted children, Clifford &Priscilla “Lulu”; siblings, Louisa, Laura, Andrew, Jimmy, Winnifred, Ruby, John & Susan; numerous other relatives & friends.

A Wake will be held on Thursday, June 1 (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Friday, June 2 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.  Pastor Mavis Giant will be officiating, with interment in the United Church Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
