Annual St. Paul Jayman Built MS Walk is back with a new starting location

The Annual Walk for MS is coming up in St. Paul on Sunday, May 28 this time with a new starting location at Lagasse Park.

The 2023 St. Paul Jayman Built MS Walk has been scheduled for 9:00 a.m. at its new beginning location, Lagasse Park, 4501 Lakeshore Drive.

With a goal of $65,000, the community has already raised just below $45,000, with 15 teams and 65 participants.

Anyone is still able to register for the walk online and make donations or donate to teams here.

“It’s just really exciting to be back doing things in person again,” said Brenda Rosychuk, organizer.

“It is just going to be a great day, if you register you will get some free food, we have some members of the Second Sun band coming to perform, it will be an all-around great day.”

The MS Walk was created to bring awareness to those who live every day with the struggles and challenges of MS. The fundraiser is promoting that no person living with multiple sclerosis is alone and the money donated will be used to make the lives of people with MS better and walk in the direction of a world free from MS.

Skijoring for MS happened back in March hosted by the top fundraising team MS Ain’t Purdy and now coming up on August 11 is the MS golf tournament with more details to come soon.
