A Fire Ban and Off-Highway Vehicle Restriction is now in effect in the M.D. of Bonnyville as of the afternoon of Friday, May 5.
This includes the Village of Glendon, and Summer Villages of Pelican Narrows and Bonnyville Beach.
Existing fire permits are cancelled and no new permits will be issued.
Extremely dry conditions combined with wind and low humidity is creating a dangerous situation across the province when it comes to wildfires.
