Frog Lake, Fishing Lake, next stops for AHS Mobile Mammography service
Women ages 45-74, the group most at risk of developing breast cancer, will have local access to mammography services when the Screen Test program arrives later in May.
The mobile trailer travels around the province and will make stops at the Morningsky Health & Wellness Centre in Frog Lake on May 18 and the Communiplex parking lot at Fishing Lake Metis Settlement on May 19.
Residents of both communities can book an appointment or learn more about the program by calling 1-800-667-0604.
This is part of an Alberta Health Services initiative.
Typically, the mobile unit comes to Lakeland communities once a year.
