On March 29, 2023, Miss Charmaine “Charms” Adams of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 40 years.

She is survived by 2 daughters & 2 sons, April Shirt, Antonio Shirt, Cassius Shirt Jr. & Shalayna Shirt; grandchild, Alijah Lalonde Shirt; mother, Delia Cardinal; father of her children, Cassius Shirt Sr.; 3 sisters, Crystal Adams, Teena Adams & Naomi Hunter; 3 BC nieces, Alissa, Melodie & Selena; 2 BC nephews, Domonic & Rylie; Cardinal Family, Shirt Family & White Family.

Charmaine was predeceased by her brother, Terrance Adams; uncle/Dad, Louie B.; kokum, Mary Ida Cardinal; grandfather, Joe Cardinal; uncles, Michael Cardinal & Gerald Cardinal.

A Wake will be held on Wednesday, April 19 (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.

Pastor Barbara Bull will be officiating, with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
