On February 26, 2023, Mrs. Sheila Starosielski of Ashmont passed away at the age of 90 years.

She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Emil; 4 children, Norman (MaryEllen Cole), Diane (Ellis) McConnell, Andrew (Lynn), & Sabrena (Brian) Saunders; 8 grandchildren, Lindsey, Lisa, Daniel (Melanie) McConnell, Tanya McConnell, Aleeah Starosielski, Gage Starosielski, Ava Saunders & Elyse Saunders; 2 great-grandchildren, Grady & Audrey; sisters, Gladys (Ernie) Lilje, Nancy Kell & Shirley (Bill) Bergman; sisters-in-law, Joyce Sallstrom, Doreen Starosielski & Gloria Cotton; numerous nieces & nephews.

Sheila was predeceased by her son, Emil John Jr.; parents, Hjalmer & Hazel Sallstrom; brother, Doug Sallstrom; brothers-in-law, John Starosielski, Tom Starosielski & George Cotton; 2 nephews, Lawrence Lilje & Tom Jr. Starosielski.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul.  Reverend Father Andrij Nykyforuk will be officiating, with interment in Willow Grove Cemetery, Owlseye.
