WILK, Darryl

On February 11, 2023, Darryl Wilk of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 54 years.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Buffy Whitstone; sons, Wade (Kuna), Ranen & Merrick; granddaughter, Kenley; mother, Linda Stone; brother, Ricky Wilk; sisters, Debbie Wilk, Stephanie (G. Julian) Ominayak & Beverley Stone; uncle, Ron Stone; aunty, Lorraine Stone; adopted family, Tracy & Neil Makokis, Allan Whitson & Sharon Steinhauer; numerous nieces & nephews.

Darryl was predeceased by his sister, Corinne Wilk; aunts, Theresa, Dorothy & Brenda Stone; uncles, Harvey & Joe Stone; maternal grandparents, Irvin & Julia Stone, Irene Samson & Jeannie Anderson; special grandmother, Violet Trottier; special friends, Bob & Donna of Edmonton.

A Wake will be held on Monday, February 20 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) and on Tuesday, February 21 at Onion Lake Communiplex, Onion Lake.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Onion Lake Communiplex, Onion Lake. Reverend Father Federick Akah & Band Elders will be officiating, with interment in Wihcekaskosiw Sakahikan Ayawepowin (Onion Lake Cemetery), Onion Lake.
