A Cold Lake man has been arrested and charged following a break and enter at a local business.
Cold Lake RCMP received a report of a break and enter in progress at 1:51am on Feb. 14. Members attended and found a male inside the store who was in possession of stolen property and had damaged the store.
Alfred Blackkettle, 36, from Cold Lake was arrested and charged with break and enter, mischief over $5000, possession of stolen property and fail to comply with release order conditions.
Blackkettle was held for a bail hearing and later released on court compelling documents, RCMP said.
Only cash was stolen, but there was significant property damage.
