The family of Irene Marguerite Perry of Cold Lake, Alberta is deeply saddened to announce the passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister on Friday, February 17, 2023 at the age of 76 years.

Irene is lovingly survived by her husband of 55 years: George Perry of Cold Lake, AB; children: Morgan Perry (Amanda Haas) of Cold Lake, AB, Jolene (Leon) Hynes of Cold Lake, AB; grandchildren: Erroll (Apryl) Perry of Cold Lake, AB, Dalton (Ali) Perry of South Carolina, USA, Gavin Perry (Sage Machatis) of Cold Lake, AB, Kennedy (Riley) Moore of Eston, SK, Savannah Perry (Tanner Morpak) of Eston, SK, Mackenzie Perry (Sam Stevenson) of Swift Current, SK, Kiana Hynes (Guillaume Jolin) of Cold Lake, AB, Garret Hynes of Cold Lake, AB, Hannah Walsh of Fort McMurray, AB, Brett Walsh of Fort McMurray, AB, Nathan Walsh of Fort McMurray, AB, Aiden Perry of Fort McMurray, AB and Allyson Power of Fort McMurray, AB and their mother: Kim Power; great grandchildren: Presley Perry, Lennon Perry, Hendrix Perry, Sydney Perry, Roxanne Perry, Quinn Moore, Miller Moore, Thea Moore, Brooks Colley; siblings: Raymond (Dorothy) Scanie, Noreen Scanie, Florence (Bobby) Erminskin, Fred Scanie (Denise Steinhauer), Dorothy (Barry) Martial; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Irene was predeceased by her daughter: Roxanne Perry (August 2, 2020), parents: Amable & Florestine Scanie; siblings: Donald Scanie, Rena Scanie, Dennis Scanie, baby brother Clifford Scanie.

Wake, Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 12:00 p.m., Cold Lake First Nations Band Hall, LeGoff leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, Cold Lake at 11:00 a.m.

Funeral Service, Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., St. Raphael Roman Catholic Church, LeGoff, Alberta with Father Thomas Nguyen officiating. Pallbearers: Errol Perry, Dalton Perry, Gavin Perry, Garret Hynes, Dereck Scanie, Aiden Perry; honorary pallbearers: Margaret Cardinal, Linda Ennow, Wilfred Grandbois, Amanda Haas, Leon Hynes, George Machatis, Jamie Machatis, Walter Pataghan, Pat Perry, Kim Power, Julie Rough, Karen Scanie, Kevin Scanie, Billy-Jo Wapass.
