Lac La Biche Platinum Jubilee Medal recipients honoured

Several people were awarded the Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal in the Lac La Biche area.

On Thursday, Jan. 26, Doris Burdek, Omar Moghrabi, Dave Phillips, Gail Broadbent, Donna Webster, Art Avery, and Rene Schaub were recognized for outstanding contributions to their community.

Fort McMurray-Lac La Biche MLA Brian Jean handed out the provincial honours.
