The family of Eileen Rita Steinhauer of Goodfish Lake, Alberta is saddened to announce the passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister on Friday, February 3, 2023, just two days after celebrating her 73rd birthday.

Eileen is lovingly survived by her husband of 41 years: Ron Whitford; daughter: Francine Steinhauer (Jake) & Shadow; step-daughter: Lori (Darren) Perin; step-son: Russell (Christine) Whitford; two godsons: Carlyle Soosay, Braydon Steinhauer-Collins; twenty three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters: Emily Steinhauer, Verna Steinhauer; brother: Allan Steinhauer; brother-in-law: Henry Pruden; two sisters-in-law: Shirley Kirkpatrick-Whitford, Mildred Memnook; two adopted sisters: Lou Ann Charland, Angie Charland; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Eileen was predeceased by her daughter: Carrie ‘Hushta’ Steinhauer; adopted daughter: Lindsey Whitford; parents: Douglas & Florence Steinhauer; grandson: Douglas Steinhauer; sister: Evelyn Pruden; mother-in-law: Caroline Whitford; four brothers-in-law: Jacob Charles, Elwin Whitford, Lester Whitford, Melvin Whitford; sister-in-law: Barb Huppe; adopted brother: Joe Charland; adopted sister: Karen Okeymow.
