Town of Bonnyville explores rebranding logo, slogan
The Town of Bonnyville wants your help in rebranding.
The Town is inviting local residents, business owners, community groups, local leaders, indigenous community members, elders, government workers, volunteers and more to give input on how Bonnyville should be rebranded.
The goal is to engage in as one community, about what story should be told as a municipality. Participants will be working in small groups, discussing provocative, non-linear questions that explore the brand from many angles.
“Is what we’ve been doing working for us still? Or do we need to change things up?” said Mayor Elisa Brosseau. “Since 1992 was the last rebranding, so we felt like the Town has changed a lot, the demographic has changed, so why not have a rebranding strategy that might best align with who we are.”
Things that could be looked at is the Town’s logo, slogans, colour schemes, and overall lifestyle and feel Bonnyville wants to project to other communities.
“We have about 35 spots filled, still many open. Everyone is welcome and the more the better,” said Bill Rogers, CAO for the Town of Bonnyville.
All information shared will be kept confidential and anonymous.
The engagement session will be held at St. Louis Parish Hall on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 5:30 p.m. Registration is required by 11:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30. You can register online here.
