It is with great sadness and much love that the family of John Dennis Andrew Sweany “Dennis” announces his peaceful passing with family by his side at the Cold Lake Health Centre on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at the age of 88 years.
Dennis will be forever remembered & loved by his wife of 40 years: Sharron Sweany of Cold Lake; children: Glenice (Darryl) Day, Colleen (Ron) Vickruck, Arlie (Stuart) Mont, Clayton (Jessica) Hermanson, Joanne (Darryl) Glass; grandchildren: Chelsea (Jason) Thomas, Taylor (Ben) Mont, Jordyn Mont, Clayton (Scotia) Day; great grandchildren: Emily Day, Sierra Day, Madison Chambers, Brinley Thomas; brother: Bud Sweany; sister: Donna (Ross) Kent.

Dennis was predeceased by his parents: Bud & Jean Sweany; siblings: Claire (Matt) Unsworth, Dale Sweany.

The family would like to thank the Dr’s and staff at the Cold Lake Long Term Care for their excellent care and compassion of Dennis while he resided there.

At Dennis’ request, no formal service will be held and cremation has taken place.
