Snowfall warning for Lakeland region
Heavy snowfall over northern Alberta.
Accumulating snow will continue near Peace River, spreading east toward Slave Lake early this evening. The snow will extend into the Cold Lake and Lloydminster area tonight. Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm are forecast for these regions.
This snow will gradually come to an end Christmas morning.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
