With broken hearts, the family of Sharron Gail Oates of Bonnyville, Alberta formerly of Carbonear, Newfoundland regretfully announces the unexpected passing of their beloved sister, aunt and friend on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the age of 63 years.
Sharron will be lovingly remembered by her special friend of 25 years: Wilfred “Whitey” Galey of Bonnyville, AB; sisters: Sandra (John) Whalen of Bonnyville, AB, Hilda (Phillip) St. George of Grand Prairie, AB; nieces & nephew: Susan (Adam) Bishop of Cold Lake, AB, Jamie (Andrea) Oates of Goulds, NL, Jasmine (Justin) Gehlert of Spruce Grove, AB; great nieces & nephews: Austin Bishop, Wyatt Bishop, Kennedy Oates, Wesley Oates, Ivy Oates, Nora Oates, Cassius Gehlert; sister-in-law: Genevieve Oates of Goulds, NL; close friends: Barb (Darin) Hewitt of Sunridge, ON, Marion (John) Jasperse of Leo, Indiana, Dorothy Simmer of Fenelon Falls, ON; as well as many friends in both Newfoundland and Ontario.
Sharron was predeceased by her parents: Joseph & Annie Oates; brother: Jerry Oates.
Visitation, Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Memento Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville, AB. Final Resting Place, Bethany United Church Cemetery, Carbonear, NL at a later date.
