A report of a barn fire sent tones out to Marwayne Fire & Rescue, Dewberry Fire & Rescue, County #9-1 and the RCMP.
Firefighters arrived and found the fire already extinguished – by the property owners daughter after she called 911.
Crews examined the scene and, using a thermal imaging camera, checked for any extension.
The fire was investigated and is not suspicious. Chief Hughes cleared the scene at 5:30 p.m.
