“Light Up The Hamlets” returns with new Xmas lights in M.D. hamlets

Hamlets in the area will be enjoying a bit more Christmas cheer in the coming weeks.

The M.D. of Bonnyville has scheduled “Light Up The Hamlets” night in early December for some of the communities in the municipality.

New Christmas lights are going to be unveiling in Fort Kent, Ardmore, and Cherry Grove from Dec. 6-8 to kick off the festive season.

M.D. of Bonnyville councillors are inviting residents to take a look at the new lights and have a hot drink, cookie, and a chat with them to celebrate Christmas. 

It’s tied to the second annual “Light Up the M.D.” contest, which begins Dec. 1. 

Residents are invited to submit their outdoor Christmas decorations via the M.D.’s Facebook page (facebook.com/MDBonnyville) with the chance to win prizes. 

December 6 – Fort Kent Seniors’ Centre, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. 

December 7 – Ardmore Community Hall, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. 

December 8 – Cherry Grove Community Hall, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
