A Cold Lake woman is wanted after trying to cash stolen cheques at a local business.
On October 11, at approximately 6:30pm, Cold Lake RCMP were investigating attempts to cash stolen cheques.
Police say the suspects were located in a vehicle leaving the business and as the RCMP tried to stop the vehicle, they fled.
RCMP did not pursue, but were able to identify the suspect and found out the escape vehicle was stolen from St Paul.
An arrest warrant has been obtained for a 21-year-old female from Cold Lake as part of the investigation.
