It’s the final week of regular season high school football and the last opportunity to finalize the Wheatland League standings before going into the playoffs.

With the top two teams receiving a bye, the Bonnyville Voyageurs (1-3) will travel to the undefeated Holy Raiser Raiders (4-0) tonight, while the St. Paul Lions (3-1) will travel to the winless Wainwright Commandos (0-4).

The Cold Lake Royals have the hinge game on the schedule playing the Lloydminster Comp Barons. Each team is 2-2 and a win would determine whether they’ll finish 3rd or 4th in the table.

Holy Rosary and St. Paul will receive byes, the 3rd seed will play the Wainwright Commandos, and the loser of Royals and Barons would play the Voyageurs in league playoffs.

Bonnyville is coming off of a 35-0 shutout loss to the Barons last Thursday. St. Paul smacked Cold Lake 40-15 for their third win of the season last week as well.

There is also tiering for provincial competition that will unravel in the weeks to come.

Wheatland Football League standings as of Oct. 13.
