Housefire blaze in Cold Lake deemed suspicious
The fires that affected several households in Cold Lake on Friday have been deemed suspicious, authorities say.
RCMP released information on Tuesday about the three houses that were on fire at roughly 3:00pm on Friday afternoon in the area of 45 Street and 65th Avenue.
The Cold Lake Fire department with the help of 4 Wing Fire Department were able to extinguish the blaze, however, several more area residences were damaged by heat, smoke, and water.
Cold Lake RCMP said there were no physical injuries to any of the residents, except for a household pet that died as a result of the fire.
A Fire Investigator attended the scene and the initial investigation indicates this fire is considered suspicious at this time, RCMP said.
The Cold Lake RCMP, along with the Fire Investigator, continue to investigate.
Cold Lake RCMP are seeking assistance from the public if you have any information on this incident, you are asked to contact the Cold Lake RCMP at 780-594-3301. Anyone with dash cam footage or doorbell camera footage not already provided to Cold Lake RCMP in the area of 45 street and 65 venue between 2:30 p.m., and 3:15 p.m., are asked to contact the Cold Lake RCMP.

Support for victims
A fundraiser BBQ has been quickly organized by Cold Lake Realtors to support the victims of the Tri City Estates fires.
From 4:00-7:00pm on Wednesday at Tri City Park, there will be hot dogs and water available by donation.
There may be opportunities to make other donations to the victims as well.
