Ten years but credit for time served handed in manslaughter sentence for Roger Bilodeau
A Glendon man has been sentenced for 10 years minus time served following a hearing on Friday.
Roger Bilodeau, convicted in the killings of Jacob Sansom and Morris Cardinal in May, was handed the sentence at the Court of Queen’s Bench, but is being given credit for over 1600 days served as additional credit during the pandemic.
This means Roger will serve roughly an additional five and a half years. He was convicted of two counts of manslaughter.
His son Anthony Bilodeau was convicted of second-degree murder and manslaughter in the deaths.
His sentencing hearings will begin November 17.
The guilty verdict was delivered after a 10-day trial in May 2022.
The shootings happened north of Glendon in March 2020.
