Bonnyville RCMP investigate stabbing
Bonnyville RCMP have laid assault with a weapon charges on a man after an incident in late July.
On July 28, members of the Bonnyville RCMP were dispatched to a report of a stabbing in the area of 50 Street Bonnyville. Members located three victims with non-life threatening injuries, who received medical treatment, police said.
RCMP arrested a suspect, 22-year-old Tyerel Watchmaker, who was charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and fail to comply.
Police confirmed that of the victims, one was stabbed, and the two others had injuries consistent with assault.
The suspect was known to the victims.
Watchmaker was brought before a Justice of the Peace before being remanded into custody.
